PROJECT START-UP SDS/SAFETY SUBMITTAL PROCESS

Who should attend: DBE Subcontractors including SBE, MBE, WBE: This should be the Designated Safety Person (DSP) for the project (i.e Field Personnel, Project Manager, Field Superintendent).

Class Introduction: The class will focus on Submission of SDS and Safety plans and Project Start up procedure’s for Safety/Field Scope/Tasks.

4. How to build a Jobiste Hazard Analysis (JHA)
5. Competent Person Letter

7. Credentials/Certifications/Training Documents for Competent Persons (Minimum Requirements/Special Credentials/Certification)
8. Building SDS/Safety Binders
9. Special Plans and Training/Credentials required:

• Working At Heights
• Respiratory Protection Plan
• Silica
• Compressed Air Plan
• Scaffolding
• Crane Plans
• Forklift use / JHA Etc.
